"For, once we have formed a conccept of a thing or a process, we can play with it in the imagination: the object of our thinking no longer needs to be present; we can reflect on it in its absence." This quote showed a bit of contradiction which made it confusing to me. I did not understand how "we can reflect on its absence".
"Symbolism is a language that transcends race, geography, and time". I really liked this quote because it is true that no matter the language or place a symbol will have a similar meaning.
